Apple Music Crosses 100 Million Song Mark

Today the Apple Music library has crossed the 100 million mark. More songs than any other streaming service. The history of Apple and music starts with iTunes, released in January 2001. Over 21 year years later, they have grown to become one of the largest and most popular streaming platforms in the world. I remember the days of organizing your playlist in iTunes and then syncing that to my first iPod, the iPod U2 edition. It's crazy how far we have come with portable music in the last 21 years.

iPod U2 Edition with 20Gb of storage.

This U2 Edition iPod had 20GB of onboard storage, depending on the size and length of the music files. Now we have 100 million songs ready to stream at any given moment. Quite astonishing if you ask me. Nevertheless, music is a great way to relax and enjoy moments with friends. Props to Apple for reaching this milestone and excelling in the music industry to where we are today.
